Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager focused on community engagement & growth to join our team. This role is pivotal in growing our member base, nurturing our community, and driving engagement. As a Member Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and retain members, fostering an engaged and active community
We’ve captured below what we foresee the role to be, but we’re a startup - and we’re looking for an individual who can grow and adapt as needed. You must be comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in a fast-paced environment that is at times, ambiguous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member & Community Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase qualified membership
- Identify and leverage member growth opportunities within our target audience
- Build and manage a creative member referral program to maximize member growth
- Foster relationships with community members, influencers, and partners to drive member growth and brand awareness
- Member & Community Engagement:
- Own community engagement and retention, measured by number of qualified referrals sent
- Organize and manage virtual and in-person community events, webinars, and meetups
- implement strategies to maximize engagement and retention
- Conduct regular check-ins and 1:1 meetings with members to gather feedback and assess satisfaction levels
- Content and Communication:
- Develop compelling content that resonates with our community and drives engagement
- Manage communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and forums
- Data-Driven Growth:
- Analyze community metrics and user feedback to measure the effectiveness of engagement strategies
- Use data insights to optimize community programs and initiatives
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including talent ops, product and sales teams to align community growth initiatives with overall company goals
- Collaborate with the key stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7+ experience in community management and growth marketing, with a passion for building and nurturing communities.
- Proven experience in building tech brands from 0 to 1, in a startup or high-growth environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of community engagement strategies and best practices
